HTC - bad to appalling customer service, 'liquid damage'

They will use 'liquid damage' as an excuse for their phones breaking. Will charge you a phenomenal amount for repair and will tell you they have to pay more than £20 to send it back without repair because it's not in the warranty (liquid damage). Rude customer service staff that will interrupt and argue with you, including answering the phone 'what do you want' and telling you about the amount of customers they have complaining and the fact that we have to wait our turn (3 weeks I waited). They will very rarely call you back when promised. Even the managers are powerless to change the petty rules. Do NOT want to keep the customers happy whatsoever. A useless, pathetic and very poor company.

:) Couldn't agree more.....

HTC products are fairly good but the after sales care is poor (as it is outsourced) and the software updates are rushed out and not tested properly.

HTC I am afraid to say that their standards are slipping and so is their commitment to device stability, customer services & satisfaction leaves alot to be desired, and I can say this because, HTC are issuing faulty software/ROM for the Touch Pro2 whereby the noise cancellation is so good no-one can hear me, HTC when the do repair inevatably the repair centre in the UK damage handsets and do nothing to put it right, they cracked my keyboard surround and just blank the issue and now I'm taking HTC to court to put it all right, and currently my family all use HTC thats 6 handsets alone in this house, well I guess they just don't care and if anyone reading this is thinking about getting HTC good luck when it breaks down and the call centre you call is not HTC they outsource to a company called WDS Global which has little or no maral or trading ethics but do HTC equaly a dis service as HTC do themselves by not caring about your problem so a well suited alliance.
