I was looking for a new phone, i loved my old one but, wanted newer and better. My husband convienced me to go with the U11, which i received mid Dec 2017.

I immediately put the case in the phone thats provided and searched online for a more durable one. u11 cases are either unavailable, out of stock, or not sold in retail stores. So i was stuck with the non protecting, slippery case that was provided. My phone slipped out of my pocket and screen immediately cracked.

Never in 25 years have i ever cracked a screen. This one cracked in less than 2 months. I contacted HTC and was told the opps warranty is covered on phones before u11's and i can pay $200 at least to fix it. This phone is not even 2 months old.

At least apple items are covered for a 1 year,including accidents.

If the screen cracks again they charge well below $200. If HTC can't provide proper accessories to prevent the severity of damage to their phones then they shouldn't be sold.
